Panduit was founded in 1955 by three engineers who wanted to create a company that would provide high quality products and services. The company’s original name was Pacific Data Products, but it was later changed to Panduit Corporation after merging with another data communications firm called International Data Link (IDL).
The founding members of Panduit included:
