In 2003, Ivanti acquired Netopia Software, which enabled them to offer more products for remote management and control of networks and systems. In 2005, they acquired Synetrix Technologies Inc., which brought them into compliance management solutions for data centers and networks. In 2008 they acquired Cybertech International Limited (Cybertech), which brought them into monitoring solutions for virtual environments such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms–and also gave them access to their own proprietary software development kit (SDK) that could be used by third parties looking for solutions based on these technologies!
