Financial Performance

Nasuni has seen steady growth in revenue over the past decade, reaching $100 million in 2020. The company’s revenue comes from three main sources:

  • Storage as a Service (STaaS) – This is where customers pay Nasuni to store their data on its cloud-based platform
  • Backup and Recovery as a Service (BRaaS) – This service allows businesses to restore lost or corrupted data without having to go through the hassle of hiring an IT team or buying expensive hardware
  • Cloud Connectivity – This enables companies with existing storage solutions to connect them with Nasuni’s network

Andres Rodriguez, John Gentry, and Paul Trowbridge are the founders of Nasuni.
Andres is a seasoned technologist who has been involved in building large-scale cloud computing infrastructure for over 20 years. He has worked at Microsoft since 1997 where he led teams responsible for building out Azure and Office 365 datacenters worldwide before joining Nasuni as its CEO in 2014. John Gentry was previously an executive at Dell EMC where he helped build out their cloud services business unit over 7 years before joining Nasuni as CTO in 2015 (he also holds patents on various technologies related to storage). Paul Trowbridge joined Nasuni after spending several years as a senior manager at VMware working closely with many customers across industries such as healthcare & life sciences; manufacturing; financial services; media & entertainment as well as government agencies like NASA
