Paragon Software is a software company that focuses on developing security and optimization tools for Windows. The company was founded in 1985 by three individuals: Michael J. Brown, David W. Brown and David L. Paterson. Paragon Software has since grown to employ over 300 people worldwide, with offices in the United States, Germany and Japan as well as sales offices throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.
Paragon Software’s first product was Disk Defragmenter 1.0 released in 1987; this utility was designed to optimize hard drives by rearranging fragmented files into contiguous clusters so that they could be accessed more quickly by the operating system or applications running on it (such as games). This marked an important milestone for computer users who were tired of waiting hours upon hours just because their hard drives were full of fragmented files!

Paragon Software is a company that has been around since 1987. The company was founded by two brothers who wanted to create software for the Apple II and Macintosh platforms, which were popular at the time.
The first product they created was called “Paragon Hard Disk Manager,” which was designed to help users manage their hard drives more efficiently. This product allowed users to optimize their space by compressing files or deleting unnecessary ones altogether.
In 1989, Paragon released another program called “Paragon Backup & Recovery” (PBR). This program allowed users to back up data from their computers onto floppy disks or external drives without having any technical knowledge about how computers work at all!
