History of OKI

The founding members of Oki were: Mr Takashi Okubo (President), Mr Kenichi Okada (Executive Vice President) and Mr Jiro Hayashi (Director). These individuals had previously worked together at Tokyo Denki Seisakujo Ltd., another Japanese company that manufactured electrical components such as capacitors for radios before moving on to form their own venture which would later become known as Oki Electric Industry Co Ltd – now known simply as “Oki”.
