In 2009, Open Text acquired Novell Inc., a software company that specializes in network management software and services. The following year, Open Text acquired Xceedium Inc., an IT security solutions provider based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA.

  • OpenText Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is software designed to protect against data loss through encryption, masking and redaction capabilities that prevent sensitive information from being sent outside your organization without proper authorization or being stored on servers without proper protection measures taken first–like encryption keys set up beforehand so unauthorized parties won’t be able to read them even if they get hold of them somehow!
  • OpenText Archive Appliance stores large amounts of unstructured data such as emails or documents so they don’t take up space on your computer hard drives anymore!
