History of Samsung

Samsung was founded in 1938 by Lee Byung-chull. The company began as a small trading company that sold dried seafood, but it soon grew into one of South Korea’s biggest conglomerates.
It has since become one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, producing everything from smartphones to televisions and refrigerators.

During this time period they also grew their number of employees from 68 thousand employees worldwide up until 2014 when it reached 92 thousand people working there today!

The first product that was released under this brand name was called “Samsung Electric Company” which manufactured electronic parts such as radio receivers for military use during World War II (1939-1945). Later on they started making televisions too! The first TV model came out in 1966 but it wasn’t until 1984 when they released their first LCD monitor called “Superior Color Picture Quality”.
