Language Used

We use the language of our customers to write this blog. We want you to feel like you’re having a conversation with us rather than reading something that’s been written by someone who doesn’t understand your needs.
We also want to make sure that everyone can understand what we’re saying, so we’ll use simple words and sentences when possible. We don’t want anyone getting confused or lost in the details–we just want our readers to learn something new!

Word Count

We know that you’re busy, and we want to make sure that you have enough time to write a blog post. That’s why we ask that all posts be at least 1,000 words in length. We understand that this can be difficult for some people who aren’t used to writing at such a length; however, we promise it’s worth it! If you find yourself struggling with this requirement or need help getting started on your first draft, check out our guide on how long should my blog post be?

Citing Sources

When you cite a source, it’s important to provide the reader with enough information so that they can find and read the original article or book. For example, if you are using an article from The New York Times as a source for your research paper on the history of basketball, then you should cite it like this:

  • Author’s Last Name, First Initial (Year Published). Title of Article/Book in Italics. Title of Journal/Website in Italics. Publisher Name (if applicable), Volume Number(s) (if applicable), Page Numbers Where You Found Your Information.
